On Thursday, January 21, 2016, religious leaders from surrounding communities, met in Packer Memorial Church to endorse a statement of support for the safe practice of the Islam faith in the Lehigh Valley.
The statement was signed by more than 40 religious leaders from diverse religious traditions and many of them attended the conference to share their thoughts on the need for respect and tolerance of each others beliefs.
