2019 Inter-Religious Israel-Palestine Spring Break Trip
March 7-17, 2019

Trip is a focal point for exploring interfaith dialogue and the role that dialogue plays in confronting political conflict and the prospect of peace.

Attention will be given to the Judaic understanding of Israel as homeland and refuge; the Christian understanding of Israel as a setting for the rise of Christianity; and the Islamic understanding of the ummah or community of faith extended to the land of Palestine, also as home and refuge.

The trip will include visits to Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Galilee, Haifa, and Bethlehem in the Palestinian Authority. Experts who have influenced dialogue in Israel—religion scholars, philosophers, and journalists will be engaged throughout the journey.

If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity and would like to sign up for this trip hosted by The Dialogue Center, led by Dr. Lloyd Steffen and Rabbi Steve Nathan be sure to attend one of the information session listed above.
