Frequently asked questions about Packer Memorial Church:
Where do we park for events at the church?
Lehigh is currently a pedestrian campus, which means that visitors for any event on campus may park in either Zoellner Garage or Alumni Memorial Garage as well as along Packer Avenue. All locations are pay by spot utilizing the ParkMobile App. From the Zoellner Garage, it's a very slight slope 5-7 minute walk. From the Alumni Parking Pavilion it's downhill to the church, and of course then uphill going back, but it's only about a 2-3 minute walk. Visitors with physical disabilities can be dropped off in front of the church, but then the vehicle must exit the campus and park off campus or in one of our parking garages. Parking an any other unauthorized are will most likely result in a parking ticket.
Are there restroom facilities in the church?
Packer Memorial Church was built in 1887, and so, there are no public or handicapped facilities inside the church. However, we do have full restroom facilities in Packard Lab, which is directly across from the front doors of the Church. You will have to exit the church, go outside across the brick walkway and enter through a wooden door that can be seen from the front of the church. Directly inside straight down the hall the restrooms can be found on the right side of hall and are marked accordingly. We apologize for any inconveniece this may cause and suggest that if you come from any distance to an event at the church, that you build in a few extra minutes to visit the facilites in Packard Lab prior to the event.
