A meeting of students and faculty interested in tutoring at the Northampton County Prison. Thursday, April 19 @ 4:00p and/or Wednesday, April 25 @ 12:00 noon in The Dialogue Center, 661 Taylor Street.
This meeting will provide information about the project, procedures for prison orientation, and expectations for participants. Tutoring focuses on developing reading, writing, and math skills and involves sessions with low security inmates to help them prepare for high school graduation or GEDs. The Prison Project is offered to Lehigh students as a volunteer opportunity.
